Facing slab

The frieze presents two felines in profile, gradient to the left, and a bull-man, gradient to the left, in the centre. The bull-man's head, arms and upper torso are in perspective view, the rest of the body is in profile. The pattern of the figure is that of the Minotaur, which we find in the same period in numerous vascular representations in the scene of the slaying by Theseus. It is located in the area between the Arch of Augustus and the Temple of Divus Julius
