Akkadian tablet from Tell el Amarna

Clay tablet found at Tell el Amarna, the capital of Akhenaten known as Akhetaten, found together with about 350 tablets all written in cuneiform characters. The language used is Akkadian, the diplomatic language used at the time. Most of the letters date from the reigns of Amenhotep III and Akhenaten and represent correspondence established between the Egyptian administration and other kingdoms of the ancient Near East.
