Statuette of Akhenaten with one of his daughters

Unfinished statuette depicting the ruler Akhenaten kissing a female figure seated on his lap, probably one of his six daughters. Akhenaten wears the blue crown on which the uraeus is visible and is seated on a throne on which a cushion is placed. The ruler wears a dress with short, flared sleeves. The female figure sits crosswise on his lap and wears a short wig (called the Nubian wig, characteristic of depictions from the Amarna period).
