The sculpture represents a couple of the Theban nobility: Sennefer and his wife Senay are seated next to each other on a wide seat. Sennefer wears a long skirt and a wig and with his left arm encircles his bride, Senay, who is depicted in the same attitude. She too wears a voluminous wig and a long dress. In the centre, represented in a smaller size and placed between the parents' legs, is a daughter of the couple, Mutnofret.
