Amenofi son of Hapu posing as a scribe

Amenofi, one of Amenhotep III's highest dignitaries, is depicted here as a scribe. He is seated with crossed legs, his head is slightly bent forward looking towards the open papyrus scroll on his lap. He wears a skirt and a short wig and on his left shoulder are depicted writing implements. The folds of fat on her abdomen indicate the prosperity and success achieved by Amenhotep.
