Sfinge di Thutmosi III

The sculpture rests on a smooth, anepigraphic rectangular plinth. The feral body stretches out sinuously, with the long front legs stretched forward and the tail curved over the right hind leg. The head is human, and more precisely of a ruler, as revealed in nemes. The forehead is dominated by the uraeus. The chin rests on a large, square, false beard. On the chest is a hieroglyphic inscription.
