The sculpture depicts the incumbent sovereign stepping on the Nine Arches; his arms are stretched across his body, his hands resting on the rigid band of his skirt, decorated with a band that starts at the belt and ends at the bottom with two urei. The large parallelepiped base is surmounted by another raised element behind the sovereign on which rests the goddess Meretseger, depicted as a cobra with a solar disc and horns on her head; the body of the goddess forms the usual coils but is partially covered by papyrus stalks; she wears the white crown with the uraeus
