The pillar depicts on all four sides the pharaoh embraced with various deities: the Theban god Amun, to whom the hieroglyphic inscription attributes the epithet Kamutef ('his mother's bull'), in human form and wearing on his head the archaic model of the shuty crown ('double feather'), the ruler wears the red crown (emblem of Lower Egypt) with Amun, hieroglyphs
