Stele of Nitptah

The stele is rectangular in shape and presents a sequence of characters accompanied by their names and surmounted by a horizontal line of hieroglyphics (stating that the deceased and the members of his family possess the status of imakhu, i.e. revered, with the god Ptah-Sokari, who is asked to intercede so that their ka may feed on beer, cattle and birds). Niptah wears a white skirt with a stiff triangular front band and two bracelets on her wrists, she has a staff and a whip, necklace, beard; there is his wife Seni, daughter of Tai, as the hieroglyphic says, she has a lotus flower, green necklace, the dress has beads; his son Antef and daughter Djedu, also with a lotus flower; the female figures have bracelets and anklets, . All the figures rest on a base consisting of three lines painted in different colours.
