The dwarf Seneb and his family

Sculptural group depicting the dwarf Seneb and his family found in the naos of his tomb. Seneb was in charge of the pharaoh's wardrobe and connected to the cult of the 4th Dynasty kings Cheops and Djedefra. Seneb is portrayed in the position of a scribe; his wife Senetites sits next to him. In the space that her husband's legs were supposed to occupy, the sculptor has inserted the couple's two children, naked, standing with a finger in their mouths, the male has a childhood braid; on the walls and base inscriptions show their names.
