Udjat eye necklace found among the bandages of Tutankhamun's mummy, practically an object already worn by the pharaoh during his lifetime. According to the Egyptians, the udjat eye, here placed in the centre, was one of the most powerful amulets. On the sides are two goddesses: Wadjyt, serpent goddess of Lower Egypt with a red crown on her head, while Nekhbet, lady of Upper Egypt, is in the form of a vulture with a white crown and grasps the shen symbol with her claws. At the base of the representation is a bar decorated with vertical motifs. The breastplate hangs from a necklace made of between rows of beads.
