The vase has a high neck on which are engraved three bands of decorative motifs in the form of downward-pointing lance-shaped leaves, a broad drop motif and a series of circles with stylised rosettes. A ring-shaped handle is attached below the rim by means of a bar in which a stone is set. On the belly of the container is a necklace-like garland of leaves from which hangs a lotus flower flanked by two birds with outstretched wings.
