Treasure of Tutankhamun. Bronze trumpet

The bronze used to make this trumpet is partly covered in gold; the mouthpiece is cylindrical and has a silver ring at the end, attached to the tube. Some decorative wooden inserts depict a lotus flower. On the outside of the pavilion is depicted Tutankhamun wearing a blue crown and holding a hooked sceptre and crosier, symbols of royal authority.
