Bronze statuette depicting Imhotep, the architect of the stepped pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, later worshipped as a deity. Imothep is seated, holding a papyrus scroll in his hands. The man wears a skirt and sandals and wears a large gold-encrusted necklace. On the plinth of the statue runs an inscription.
