Stele of Horus on crocodiles

Stele of Horus above the crocodiles. The god is depicted as a naked child with a typical trace symbolising childhood on the right side of his head and a uraeus cap on his forehead. The god is placed on two crocodiles and grasps dangerous animals with his hands. In his right hand an oryx, a scorpion two snakes, and in his left hand a lion and two snakes. A mask of Bes is placed above the god's head. The stele was used in rituals against or for the treatment of bites and stings.
