Statue of a gilded sphinx with lion body and human head on rectangular anepigraphic plinth. The body has long front paws and the tail is bent over the hind right paw. The musculature is suggested by incised lines. The head is that of a pharaoh wearing the nemes, a royal headdress, a uraeus on the forehead and a broad false beard. Traces of the original gilding are still visible.
