Centre: cartonnage representing Anubis, the jackal-headed god, carrying the lunar disc on his shoulders. He wears a golden collar, a short skirt with a long tail at the front and sandals. A long cloak over his shoulders reaches down to his feet. Left and right: cartonnage representing Osiris with Atef crown and sceptres of power, hekat and nekhekh. Cartonnage, made of linen or papyrus held together by a glue, was used to be moulded into sarcophagi and funerary masks.
