Treasure of Tutankhamun. Ushabty in traditional forms

This statuette well exemplifies the characteristic forms of the ushabty of the 18th dynasty, who have mummiform bodies and wear what has been called the 'tripartite wig' on their heads, recognisable by the two heavy braids hanging down the sides of their faces, down to their chests, and a third one hanging down the back.
