The statue depicting the sovereign is covered with a layer of gilded stucco; the flagellum, sceptre, uraeus and sandals are made of polished bronze. The black colouring of the pedestal on which the pharaoh rests, the leopard and the second pedestal contrasts with the bronze parts and the gilded details on the animal's snout and ears.
