Model boat on wooden wagon

It was part of the deceased's grave goods. The model represents a vessel made of bundles of reeds bound by cerde and terminated at the prow and stern in two tufts in the shape of an open papyrus flower. Four gold rings protrude from the walls. The eguipment consists of twelve silver rowers. The boat rests on a wooden chariot with four bronze wheels. The bowman's seat on the right, which gives orders to the crew, reproduces the knot of Isis on several registers; behind the helmsman on the left is another seat depicting a lion and a Kamose scroll; in the centre of the boat is another gold figure with an axe and a staff.
