The jewel consists of two rows of gold beads between which pairs of amulets were attached. From the centre towards the extremity are several images: the user sign, symbol of power; the jackal god Anubis; the vulture goddess Nekhbet and the cobra goddess Uadjet, symbol of lordship over Upper and Lower Egypt; the hathoric sistrum; the sacred eye of Horus; the khenem jar; the djed pillar; again the ankh sign; the sema sign indicating the trachea, symbol of unity; the bee, symbol of Lower Egypt. A series of multicoloured drop pendants are attached to the lower row of gold beads, while the necklace's susta is made up of two falcon heads.
