Treasure of Tutankhamun. Lid of jar with bird and eggs

Flat lid attached to a cup, representing a nest. The two elements are made of calcite, as are the four eggs contained in the nest. The bird, on the other hand, is made of painted and stuccoed wood. Found inside Tutankhamun's tomb, it represents the moment of rebirth after death and is symbolically linked to Amarna spirituality.
