Basilica

The two apses are decorated by columns: in the centre by two tall Corinthian columns in red granite with octagonal marble pedestals and surmounted by an architrave with two winged griffins; along the curved walls by Ionic columns in red granite, smaller in size, and placed in two orders. Between the columns were niches for statues.
