Amenhotep III is depicted wearing a blue crown with concentric circles (used in warlike representations of the ruler). On the front of the crown stands the ureu, the serpent symbol of kingship whose coils form a circle. The sovereign has large slanted almond-shaped eyes with an extremely elongated profile.
