Under a band of small polychrome panels runs a horizontal hieroglyphic inscription with a funerary offering formula. The two long and two short sides respectively have four and two columns of inscriptions placing the deceased under the protection of a series of deities. The outer eastern side of the sarcophagus has two eyes-udjat above the depiction of the tomb door decorated with polychrome panels.
