The necklace is made of a string of gold pearls and semi-precious stones. The pectoral bears in the centre the cartouche with the king's coronation name, flanked by two falcon-headed sphinxes portrayed in the act of trampling enemies. Above is depicted the vulture goddess Nekhbet. The scene is bordered by a frame evoking the shape of a sanctuary; the walls are replaced by lotus plants.
