Faro

At the end of the northern pier, of which the imposing platform of large limestone slabs still remains, stood the lighthouse. All that remains of it is the moulded base, in which a staircase is cut, covered by a vault that supported the first floor. Large blocks of the opus caementicium, on which the structure was made, have collapsed all around it (a colossal one can be seen in the sea).
