Nefertari and Hathor

Detail of the wall decoration of the vestibule. Nefertari is wearing the Hathoric Crown (consisting of the sun disc surrounded by bovine horns and surmounted by two tall feathers) and a long dress. In her hands she clasps papyrus stalks and in front of her is an altar: the queen is making offerings to Hathor. The goddess is represented in the form of a cow and is on a boat sailing through a marsh, indicated by the papyrus plants.
