The Chapel of Ra-Horakhty is located to the right of the terrace of the Abu Simbel temple. It consists of a small enclosed courtyard accessed by stairs. The outer wall evokes a pylon. An altar with royal cartouches and standing statues of gods and falcons can still be seen in the centre of the chapel. Originally, two obelisks recalling the sun cult also stood there.
