Book of Doors, third division. Twelve goddesses (two groups of six) are placed on two triangular ramps (these have a darker and a lighter side to symbolise the Nun). The goddesses are the personification of the hours of the night. Between the two groups is a gigantic serpent representing time. Its coils represent each hour. The hours are generated and then devoured by the serpent.
