General view of the Ay burial chamber

The burial chamber is decorated with scenes from the Book of the Dead and the Book of Amduat. The pharaoh is depicted together with deities and family members. In the centre of the room is the sarcophagus carved from red granite. The interior is decorated with texts from the Book of the Dead. The exterior features four goddesses in the corners, Isis, Neftis, Neith and Selkis with outstretched wings. The long sides feature two winged sun discs.
