The statue of the deceased is placed in a boat to admire the garden

The statue of the deceased is placed in a boat to admire the garden. This is probably a special celebration, perhaps that of the 'Beautiful Feast of the Valley', during which the Rekhmire statue was taken out of the grave, placed under a tent where the son presents him with honours. Afterwards the statue was placed in a boat and ferried around the pool in the middle of the garden to enjoy the fresh air and scents. Around the pool, servants are busy working and collecting.
