Book of the Earth. From the bottom to the top. First register: The depth of the earth was the place of Annihilation where enemies and damned souls were destroyed. At the base of the wall one can see a series of bound and decapitated enemies. Second register: The earth god Aker represented as a double lion. Above him two sun boats, one entering (left) and one leaving (right) from the depths of the earth. On the boat is the sun god in the form of a scarab flanked by two ba birds. Between the two lions are mummified deities and a pair of arms lifting the sun disc from the earth. Third register: on the left ten upturned heads with hieroglyphic representing shadows, while lower down are other heads with arms raised in sign of prayer. On the right is a mummy of the solar god flanked by cobras and two arms raising the solar disc and two figures offering two small discs.
