Ramesses I in front of Khepri and while performing the henu ritual

The king stands before the god Khepri and presents a jar of ointments and four meret containers. With his right hand he holds the schettro sekhem. The god is seated on a throne with a scarab head and holds a sceptre was and an ankh. He is dressed as usual in a white and gold skirt, a tail and a broad collar. On the left: Ramesses I is depicted kneeling while performing the typical gesture of the Henu ritual. In front of him a god with the head of a jackal, behind him a god with the head of a falcon: these are the representations of the powers of the cities of Pe (Buto, in Lower Egypt) and Nekhen (Hierakonpolis in Upper Egypt).The king is wearing a white and gold skirt and nemes with an uraeus on his forehead, a broad necklace and bracelets. Bottom: The niche inside the burial chamber representing Ramesses I inside a pavilion symbolising the place of embalming, in the form of Osiris wearing a white crown. The pharaoh rests on a wavy serpent. In front of him stands a cobra, Meseret 'the flame'. Behind him stands a ram-headed god with his arms raised and his hands on the pharaoh's shoulders. His feet rest on two vases.
