Funeral chamber of Ramesses IX. On the ceiling are scenes from the Book of Night with a night journey of the sun boat. At the bottom, the wall is decorated with scenes from the Book of Caves. Deities are depicted worshipping or mourning a divine body inside a cave, or welcoming the rising sun god from two hillocks, or caves containing Osiris and Ra, in the form of a scarab pushing a solar disc. The scene symbolises the rebirth of the sun.
