Guests at Ramose's funeral banquet

The funeral banquet shows four pairs of guests. Among them are the relatives of the deceased, each with their name in the accompanying text. The scenes are particularly beautiful with well-executed details carved in limestone. The reliefs have been left painted, with the exception of the eyes. From the left are Khesy, an officer of Amun, and an unknown personage, May, Lord of the king's horses and his wife Urnure priestess of Mut at Karnak, Neby the father of Ramose, and his wife Apuya, Ramose's brother Amenhotep, steward of the king's palace at Memfi and chief of the craftsmen with his wife May.
