Amduat Sixth hour First register Nine gods and goddesses seated on invisible thrones. Following these are three sceptres surmounted by a White Crown, another three with a Red Crown and the last three with urei. All have a knife at the base and are followed by gods and three chambers with a roof opening through which a serpent breathes fire. Under a vaulted roof is a form of Ra. Second Register Solar boat preceded by mummified deities with human heads and posthuman beards. To the right a large serpent with five heads. Inside the oval formed by his body is a god lying on his back, with a human head on which is a scarab symbol of Khepera. Below is a large snake with the heads of the four sons of Horus on its back. Third register Nine snakes spit fire from their jaws and are armed with knives. Only the upper part of their bodies is visible. In front of them stands a deity. Images and texts are executed in italics imitating funerary papyri.
