Amduat Eleventh hour First register A large winged serpent with two pairs of human legs. At its side a god with a sun disc above his head on either side of which are two wadjet eyes. The god touches the snake's wings with his hands. Behind him stands another god with a solar disc in place of his head. On either side of the disc sprout two human heads, one with a White crown, the other with a Red crown. Following this is a snake with a mummified god on its back. In front of the winged serpent is another serpent with a mummified god sitting on its back. Behind it a series of weeping gods and goddesses seated on two snakes. Second register Sun boat with twelve deities carrying the serpent Mehen on their heads and proceeding in front of the sun god's boat. In front of them are two serpents, one with a Red crown on his back, the other with a White crown. They follow the goddess Neith with a Red crown. Third register Horus in front of a large snake raised on its tail. Behind it six vaulted, fire-filled cavities where Ra's enemies are annihilated are manned by as many goddesses spitting fire and holding a knife.
