Amduat Second hour First register Series of standing or seated deities. In the final part of the register mummified deities seated on thrones with knife-shaped phallus. Second register The sun boat, without ferrying deities, follows a procession of boats. The first boat ends with human heads with false beards. A full moon inside a crescent stands on a stand divided into thirteen sections as many as there are days before the moon appears on the fourteenth day of the month. Near the lunar disc a god holds the feather of Maat. The second boat ends with human heads surmounted by two feathers. In the centre of the boat between two female deities is a large sistrum, symbol of the goddess Hathor. At the front is a scarab. The third boat has the prow with a White crown and the stern with a Red crown. Inside between two sceptres is a large lizard on which is the head of Osiris and a white crown. The fourth boat has ends ending in an uraeus. Inside the boat, at the stern and prow, grows a plant or an ear of corn. In fact, the god in the centre is Neper, a form of Osiris as the god of vegetation. Two deities stand in front and behind the god Neper. Third register Various deities, seated or standing. Among these is a mummified Osiris with a white crown.
