Ramesses III with Hapi and Qebehsenuf

Ramesses III in two scenes, one depicting him in the presence of the cynocephalic genius Hapi and the other greeting the hieracocephalic genius Qebehsenuf, the sons of Horo in charge of preserving the lungs and intestines. The four sons of Horo collaborated with Anubis in the work of mummifying Osiris' body and were placed to protect the canopic jars containing the deceased's internal organs. The pharaoh wears two different headdresses: in the first scene he wears the Khepresh or blue crown on his head while in the second he wears an elaborate wig adorned with the uraeus.
