Khaemhat con offerte

Detail of the transition area between the Transverse Hall and the Court. Figurative decoration in relief. On the left (Transverse Hall) is a large representation of Khaemhat. He is standing, wearing a wig, a shebyu collar, a semi-transparent garment with short sleeves and a pleated skirt. In one hand he holds a brazier on which are placed offerings, in this case geese. In the other hand he holds a cylindrical container from which he pours a liquid onto the brazier (possibly incense). On the right (inside the door) is Khaemhat again, wearing a long semi-transparent robe, a shebyu collar and a broad breastplate, his hands raised in an attitude of adoration. Around him, in hieroglyphic characters, is a Hymn to Ra.
