Khaemhat and Hymn to Ra

Detail of the transition area between the Transverse Hall and the Court, on the inside of the door. Khaemhat is represented standing and has his arms raised in an attitude of adoration. On his head he has a double wig (the hair is rendered in a different manner: with straight locks at the top and curls at the bottom, at shoulder height). He wears a long semi-transparent dress and skirt, a shebyu collar and a wide breastplate. Around him is a hieroglyphic text with a Hymn to Ra.
