Meryt offers a Shebyu collar in Sennefer

Detail of one of the four pillars of the Funeral Chamber. Sennefer is seated on a stool with legs in the shape of lion's paws. Wearing a wig, a long semi-transparent garment and a white skirt, around his neck he wears a gold collar and two heart-shaped amulets bearing the names of the ruler Amenhotep II. A short, square beard is visible on his chin. His left arm is stretched towards the shoulders of his bride, Meryt, who is standing in front of him. Meryt wears a long wig, a breastplate and a long white dress. In her left hand she carries a plate on which is placed a gold collar, which she is offering to her husband. Her right hand is on the heart-shaped amulets around Sennefer's neck. The text mentions some of Sennefer's titles, Meryt is referred to as the Singer of Amon.
