Meryt offers a cup to Sennefer

Detail of one of the four pillars of the Funeral Chamber. Sennefer is seated on a stool with legs in the shape of lion's paws. He wears a wig, a long semi-transparent garment and a white skirt. Around his neck he wears a large gold breastplate and two heart-shaped amulets, on his arms he has heavy gold bracelets; on his chin a short, square beard is visible. In his right hand he clutches a bouquet of flowers. Meryt, who is standing in front of him, wears a long wig, a breastplate and a long white dress. With her left hand she touches the groom's left hand, while with her right hand she is handing him a bowl. Above: two Udjat eyes, with the Shen symbol in the centre and the Nun vase (with the three wavy lines symbolising water).
