Meryt offers Sennefer fabrics

Detail of one of the four pillars of the Funeral Chamber. Sennefer is seated on a stool with crossed legs, placed on a plinth. He wears a wig, a long semi-transparent garment and a white skirt, around his neck he wears a golden breastplate, on his chin a short square beard is visible. In his left hand he holds a lotus flower, which he wears close to his face. In front of him, standing, is Meryt. She is wearing a long wig, a breastplate and a long white dress. In both hands she clasps a linen cloth, which she is offering to the bridegroom. Above: two Udjat eyes, with the symbol Shen in the centre and the vase Nun (with the three wavy lines symbolising water).
