Meryt offers myrrh to Sennefer

Detail of one of the four pillars of the Funeral Chamber. Sennefer is seated on a stool with legs in the shape of lion's paws. He wears a wig, a long semi-transparent garment and a white skirt; around his neck he wears a broad blue breastplate. A short, square beard is visible on his chin. His bride, Meryt, is standing in front of him. She wears a long wig, a breastplate and a long white dress; in her hands she carries a container filled with myrrh that she is offering to her husband, Sennefer.
