Seti I and Ptah-Sokar

Detail of the relief on a pillar of the burial chamber, showing King Seti I and the god Ptah Sokar. The king is dressed in the nemes headdress with the Uri serpent rising above his forehead and a ceremonial false beard. Around his neck he wears a faience collar. The god, with falcon head and atef crown on his head takes the pharaoh by the hand and rests a hand on his shoulder as a sign of protection
