Isis and Seti I

Pillared chamber with two rows of pillars flanking the main axis. The wall of the chamber is decorated with three registers depicting scenes from the fifth hour of the Book of Gates. The four pillars are decorated with images of the deceased along with various deities. Here the goddess Isis embraces Seti I in her customary attire. She wears a red dress with straps that leave her breasts exposed and is recognisable by the symbol above her head. Her skin is golden to remind us of her divine nature.
