East wall of the burial chamber: Ra-Harakhty in the sun boat.

Representation of the god Ra-Harakhty as he travels on the sun boat greeted by two baboons on either side of the boat, travelling from north to south. The boat has a stern in the shape of a papyrus and the prow is hidden by what appears to be a red curtain hanging at water level, decorated with dotted lines. The falcon-headed god is seated in the centre of the boat, his head surmounted by a sun disk surrounded by an uraeus. He holds in his hand an ankh sign, the symbol of life. In front of him is the hieroglyphic sign 'shemes', graphically represented with a leg: it represents the followers of Horus, i.e., the blessed dead, of whom Sennedjem wants to be a part. Behind the god is a small structure in the shape of Per-nu, the primitive sanctuary of Buto in Lower Egypt.
