Menna's sarcophagus crosses the Nile

Detail of the transport of the deceased across the Nile. On a boat made of papyrus is visible a lion-shaped funerary bed, on it is the Menna sarcophagus. Behind the sarcophagus are three male figures, probably officiating priests and embalmers. On either side of the sarcophagus are two female figures wearing a long white dress: Isis and Nephti. Above and to the left: other scenes pertinent to funeral rites and the transport of the deceased.
